Hi, Pocamarket Global Users!

So, to help you better understand the photocard-related terms, we’ll offer some clear explanations in this post.
Do not miss this post and have a happy photocard journey

Types of the Photocards
First of all, let’s review some types of photocards!
As we mentioned earlier, there are basically three types of photocards—Selfie Photocard, Concept Photocard, and Special release Photocard.
Depending on the type, fans’ preferences vary.
Lucky Draw
Have you ever heard of the Lucky Draw?
In Korea, it is commonly called “Luck-Deu”, which is abbreviation of “Lucky Draw”.
The Lucky Draw event is usually held in line with a K-pop idol’s album release period.
When you purchase albums over a certain amount, you can receive a Lucky Draw ticket for a random photocard.
Just like the photo on the left, you can press the button on the machine to get your Lucky Draw Photocard!
These events are mostly held offline, and because each entertainment company provides different versions, they tend to be quite popular.
For these reasons, these types of photocards are usually sold at higher prices.
Boon-cheol
‘Boon-cheol’ originally means the act of dividing a single newspaper, document, or similar material into several parts and binding them seperately.
However, in our photocard culture, it refers to group orders and sorting and splitting.
In practice, one person takes the lead by collecting payments from others, making a group purchase, and then dividing the photocards or other items among the participants.

It is a great way for fans to buy items together and share the fairly.
Photocard Sleeve & Toploader
To keep your photocard safe, you can use photocard sleeves and toploaders
A photocard sleeve is type of OPP film made of vinyl.🫧
By putting your photocard inside, you can protect it from damage.
Sleeves come in various sizes and ticknesses, but most K-pop fans use ones that fit their photocards exactly❗️
However, a toploader is a little bit different from a sleeve.
It is made of plastic, which offers better protection.
You can use it whenever you want to take your photocards outside or deliver them to others.
And also, K-pop fans often personalize their toploaders in creative ways to make their photocards look better and reflect their own style.
